I apologize I haven’t been posting as much lately! Some weeks with the baby are good, while some are pretty hard and I end up in sweats all week! I did manage to get outside the other day though and put together a casual fall outfit for the occasion. I am so excited that Thanksgiving is next week! I have to admit this is my all time favorite holiday! It gives you the opportunity to reflect, while also spending time with family, friends and some incredible food. Is there anything better than that?? This year I have a lot to be thankful for and put a few of them below. It’s been such a life-changing few months, and I’m looking forward to what’s coming in the future. Hope you all take a moment in the next few days to think about what you’re thankful for! Even if it’s just Chanel lipstick and a roof over your head, there’s always something to be grateful for. 🙂
What I’m Thankful For:
- My boys of course are the number one thing I’m thankful for. My husband, my son and my pup put a smile on my face every single day, and I can’t believe I get to call them mine. They all make up a special piece of our crazy little family!
- My parents, brothers, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. etc.! I am very close to all members of my family and honestly wish I could hang out with them every day. When it comes to my family, there’s really nothing else that I find more important. They are everything to me.
- FASHION! There’s a gossip girl quote where Blair says that fashion is the most powerful art there is. It’s movement, design and architecture all in one and it shows the world who we are and who we’d like to be. One of the best parts of being a girl is that we have so many choices of what we want to wear and how we want to represent ourselves. As a fashion blogger, I love opening my closet every day and picking out a piece of art to showcase who I am every day!
- Finally, I usually always say I’m thankful for having a great job but now I’m thankful for have the BEST job, which is being a mom! A year ago I wasn’t sure I would be able to add that title to my name but now I can’t imagine anything better. Sure, being a mom these days means putting myself last and making it through on just a few hours of sleep, but every day my son reminds me that it’s my greatest accomplishment. One day I’m hoping he’s thankful for all that we’ve done to make his life a great one!
Hope you all have a great week and weekend preparing for the upcoming holiday! And as the Italian side of me would say, “mangia mangia! Eat eat!”
