Although this combo is yummy it’s not exactly figure friendly so I made some “guiltless” options that are little healthier and can offer some peace of mind since they add in some great nutrition. Plus they still taste amazing! Check out the easy recipes below – perfect for a quick Friday night meal!
The key to this pizza is using better ingredients, lessening the amount of cheese and adding in spinach for a health boost. I personally enjoy this more than full-fat pizza and hope you will too!
1 Pre-made pizza crust of your choosing
2 tbsp Olive Oil
Fresh, Pre-cooked Sausage
Homemade or Organic Pizza Sauce
Organic Mozzarella Cheese
Fresh, Organic Baby Spinach
Directions: Top the crust with olive oil and spread across for an even coat. Next top with pizza sauce, spinach, sausage and cheese. Keep the cheese light so your pizza isn’t weighed down and the calories are light. Cook at 425 degrees for 10 minutes and you’re ready to enjoy a semi-homemade pizza with less guilt!
Guiltless “Ice Cream” Smoothie:
Instead of ice cream, you can opt for this smoothie which is full of healthy fats and vitamins but still offers up a tasty, cool treat. Just blend together the following ingredients and enjoy!
¼ cup Almond Milk
½ cup Frozen Strawberries and Blueberries
2 tbsp Peanut Butter
You can also add in raw cacao for a chocolate flavor, switch up the fruit, add in yogurt – the possibilities are endless and the end result is excellent!
